  The steak hibachi and fried rice was some of the best I'd had in a long time. The sauce was flavorful, the steak was tender, and the rice and egg was delicious. My girlfriend had the House Sushi, which she thought was generously portioned and beautifully presented. And, taste wise, everything you'd expect of the cuts you're getting.
  
  The atmosphere is a bit off though, and the chef played with his kids who were playing loudly, but for us it was a nice, casual experience. Those more strict might not enjoy it though. Now one of my favorite local places!

  I'm leaving a mediocre review because we've been here several times and the food and service has always been above average to adequate.
  
  However, I recently had my credit card information stolen and went through the process of notifying every place I recently ate at where a staff member took my card away to pay. Please be aware that I am NOT accusing Ozu staff members of stealing my information. It could have been at a number of places or the theft could have occurred online. I am simply notifying every restaurant because if staff is stealing information it's the only way they will know.
  
  When I called to alert the restaurant, the staff was very dismissive and quickly became defensive. This was in spite of my every attempt to be non-confrontational. I was very clear with the woman I spoke to that I was not accusing her or her staff and I just wanted to make the restaurant aware. It would have been very easy for the staff member to say "Thank you, we assure you that we safely handle all credit cards but we will make a note of this." I was not impressed with the way she handled this and my family will not be returning as a result.

  I absolutely love thus restaurant! The hostess and sushi chef are so sweet and they work their tails off. The sushi is a great price as well and the Wasabi is always spicy. LOVE LOVE LOVE.
